A well-known Azeri director said Caspian Sea littoral states enjoy very close cultural commonalities.
Zahra Mir Rza (Rzayeva) made the remarks on the sidelines of the 9th Varesh International Film Festival currently underway in northern city of Babol in Mazandaran Province.
Commenting on the festival, she described the event as vital, underscoring that the festival is vital for closing the Caspian Sea littoral countries.
Her film dubbed “Winged Miracle” is competing in the international section of the festival.
The film depicts a little girl whose father is in prison and wants to visit her.
She said her film has so far attended in 21 foreign festivals.
